Indignous Tortilla maker Sculpted in Clay

Honoring the indigenous women of Michoacan, this delicately featured clay skeleton crafted by Alejandra Ayala in the pueblo of Capula, Mexico, renowned for its ceramic artisans. She is  lovingly making tortillas by hand over an open fire.
