Seedpod Pelican

Add a touch of whimsy to any spot in your home or office with this cool looking pelican. Using the fallen seedpods of the Ulumbu Tree  Zimbabwean artists Raina Mazwiembiri and her daughters have created these charming little birds. Standing on hand twisted wire feet, they are between 3-4″ tall and are hand painted in the rich bright colors of each bird’s plumage.

We love these little creatures lined up in a kitchen window or peeking out from a houseplant.
